Why DoorOpen
Clever technology only matters if it helps someone feel confident arriving at the front door.
Drone surveys, 3D scans and 360° imagery are our tools. The goal is simpler: helping people know what to expect before they set off, taking away some of the uncertainty, and making places feel more welcoming and easier to navigate.
The complete journey
Most access information starts at the front door. Ours starts at the bus stop.
DoorOpen connects a drone overview of the whole site with detailed ground-level and interior mapping, creating one continuous visual journey.
-
01
The wider site
A drone overview of the building layout, entrances, parking and pedestrian routes – understood at a glance.
-
02
Getting there
Routes from nearby railway stations, bus stops, drop-off points and accessible parking.
-
03
The approach
Paths, crossings, kerbs and gradients, captured at ground level so you know what’s underfoot.
-
04
Through the door
Entrances, door controls, reception and the circulation spaces just inside.
-
05
Your destination
Corridors, lifts and the route to the exact department, room or facility you need.
Rather than simply telling you whether a building is accessible, DoorOpen lets you see and understand the journey before you make it.
How we capture it
Built from real surveys, not guesswork.
We combine aerial, 3D and ground-level capture into an intuitive, highly visual picture of how a venue can be approached, accessed and navigated.
-
Drone imagery
An aerial overview that makes large or complex sites easy to understand before you arrive.
-
Matterport 3D
Explore interior spaces virtually and at your own pace, from entrance to destination.
-
Interactive 360° imagery
Look around at every key decision point along the route.
-
Video walkthroughs
Watch the journey unfold in sequence, so turns, doors and lifts feel familiar.
-
Photographic guidance
High-resolution, annotated photos of entrances, door controls, facilities and more.
-
Surveyor-backed audits
Visual guidance supported by professional accessibility audits, so the information can be trusted.
